“Falling Down” Music Video by This Wild Life

This Wild Life is the project of Long Beach natives Anthony del Grosso and Kevin Jordan who years ago used to play a lot of pop-punk. The duo’s sophomore LP, Low Tides, was recently released by Epitaph Records and is their best collection yet. Produced by Aaron Marsh (of Copeland) and Jason Suwito (of Sir Sly and RAEKO), the album is filled with sincere lyrics and solid harmonies which swirl into epic anthems of acoustic indie pop. Here’s their latest single, “Falling Down,” which is a beautiful testament to the band’s superb progression.

“Nobody else can have me the way that you do.”

And here’s the track’s inventive music video.

This Wild Life is currently on tour.

“Look the Other Way” by Mating Ritual

Mating Ritual returns by leaking his “goodbye to summer” single, “Look the Other Way,” off his sophomore EP, Fall Collection ’16, which drops on October 7th. Mixed and mastered by Jason Suwito (a.k.a RAEKO and of Sir Sly), the song is an upbeat bop of popish indie rock highlighted by a fantastic, soaring chorus featuring harmonies by the reliably lovely Lizzy Land.

“I wake up with the morning light but I don’t know where I am.”

Mating Ritual will perform on August 19th at the Echoplex for Echo Park Rising.
