Magic Giant is back with their uplifting brand of indie-folk and merrymaking. Their latest release, “Set on Fire,” furthers their mission statement to “move bodies and souls.” The band has spent 2015 playing countless shows as part of a rigorous tour schedule including thirteen performances at SXSW and sold out shows in LA, New York, San Francisco, San Diego, and Toronto. The new single will hit the sweet spot for any summer festival regular by drawing comparisons to artists such as Mumford & Sons, fun., and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
“Which one of us set on fire? Cause we both went up in smoke.”
The band further embraced the warm feel of their live show by performing “Set on Fire” in a 1940s bomb shelter converted into a recording studio. Here’s their first installment of “The Bunker Sessions.”
