“Glory Days” Music Video by 1955 (Premiere)

1955 is a Sonoma-based trio who may have chosen their moniker after the year they wish they were born. Fronted by Sasha Papadin, the band formed during late night sessions at his “ramshackle studio” in the corner of a furniture repair shop. Two EPs later, they’ve returned with “Glory Days” which continues their modern mash-up of mod rock and rockabilly swagger.

“I don’t know where it was I woke up today.”

And here’s its California-noir music video which was appropriately filmed in Palm Springs and inspired by Jonathan Glazer’s cult film Sexy Beast.

1955 will perform on November 13th at The Silverlake Lounge.
