The Verigolds return by leaking the single, “Crossfire,” and its accompanying music video. The song conjures their reliably psychedelic, experimental spacescape with vocalist Jenna “Juniper” Cotton channeling the alluring echo of Neko Case.
“Could you be what I need?”
And here’s its aptly eccentric music video shot with visual artists Celeste Byers and Aaron Glasson at Black’s Beach in La Jolla where the band claims “the ’60s meet the 21st century in a sonically pleasant parallel universe” with “dazzling sonic spectacles that turn the body and spirit on.”
The Verigolds will perform tomorrow (October 1st) at The Casbah.
