“The Wind” (feat. Adam Rhodes) by Doe Paoro

3Doe Paoro_neilkrugEcho Park denizen Doe Paoro recently leaked a stunning, sparse single, “The Wind,” off her forthcoming debut album via Anti-. The song was written during Hurricane Sandy, produced by Justin Vernon (of Bon Iver), and features Adam Rhodes (as well as a mesmerizing beat by Supreme Cuts). It’s as meditatively haunting as it is blatantly beautiful thanks to “a hypnotic piano line, muted beats, and effects that sound like the devil is scratching at your door.”

“Like the wind, I could never hold you.”

Doe Paoro will perform tonight (June 1st) at Bardot for School Night!
