“Nova Scotia” Music Video by El Ten Eleven (Premiere)

DSC_7130v1Don’t call them math rock, but instrumental duo El Ten Eleven infamously uses enough foot pedals to supply an entire rock fest. Living in separate SoCal cities, Kristian Dunn (North Park) and Tim Fogarty (Glendale) come together to duel with a double-neck guitar/bass and drums (respectively) in a power play that oft leads to epically complex levels of sonically synced grandeur. (The term virtuoso has become synonymous with their description.) But what is most impressive, is their staunch stance on creating every sound organically with assistance from loop pedals –laptops and click tracks be damned. The band is currently in a Costa Mesa studio finishing their new album to follow up 2014’s For Emily EP (Fake Record Label) which features the riveting “Nova Scotia”:
