"Sweet" Music Video by The Mercy Beat

Photo Credit Jordan SullivanSam Endicott (former frontman for The Bravery) is back with a few fellow reformed punks for a new Downtown-based band called The Mercy Beat –and damn they’re good. Their moniker is a reference to the British Invasion-era music tabloid Mersey Beat as they claim to want to make rock inspired by ’60s dance music. The result is just as radiant as expected: buoyant grooves glide in-between spacious falsetto soars creating a soundscape intended for cutting loose and feeling a pulse. Their self-titled debut EP will drop on June 17th via OSKAR Recordings.

But for now you can enjoy their (mostly) vintage animation music video for “Sweet”:

The Mercy Beat continues their May residency at The Echo tonight (May 19th) along with In The Valley Below, StaG, and Bikos.
