"In The Fire" by Kiven (Premiere)

testSilver Lake‘s Kiven is a band of balance. They often lead with intricate melodics or hushed tones only to blast them away with heavy riffs and ferocious soars. And what might appear as pure rock dynamics will actually lead to a hypnotic level of intrigue and vigor the more you listen. Their self-titled debut LP will be released on Tuesday, February 25th and features a track (“I Can Take It”) produced by Tony Hajjar (of At The Drive-In). Here’s a black and white teaser video for the album which follows a barefoot girl exploring a stark landscape:

And here’s the album’s opening track “In The Fire” (available for free download) which acts as a perfect gripper for the spirit of the entire album:

Kiven‘s album release show will be Wednesday, February 19th at Los Globos along with Night Riots and The Epilouges.
