Los Craters might be from North Hills, but they claim to be “living in a time machine.” And they just might be, because after hearing their psychedelic brand of surf rock you’ll have hazy daydreams of grooving at a ’60s beach bash. Their debut album, Low Tide Lover (Lolipop Records), was recorded with help from Wyatt Blair (Mr. Elevator & The Brain Hotel) and unsurprisingly is about “girls, cars, and hallucinogenic drugs.” Here’s “Now Baby”:
Los Craters will perform at Trip this Thursday, January 9th along with The Vivids and Aftergloam.
And at The Night Light on Friday, January 31st along with Corners, Dirt Dress, Blood Sister, and Massenger.
And at Hemlock Tavern on Saturday, February 1st along with Pow!, The Electric Magpie, and Massenger.
