"Grapevine" Music Video by Western Lows

WesternLowsBWWestern Lows‘s debut album Glacial (Jaxart Records) was recently released and is an open love letter to the shoegaze dream pop bands that they love (Mazzy StarMission Of BurmaGuided By VoicesThe Cure). Director Miles Brandman and DP Sean Ware captured the band performing the sedative “Grapevine” under dim lights and broken shadows at Lone Palm Studio in Echo Park and turned it into a music video:

Lone Palm Studio is owned by Dan Horne who used to be in Mezzanine Owls along with Western Lows‘s frontman Jack Burnside and has recorded other bands there such as Lilys, Alpine Decline, and Tashaki Miyaki.

Western Lows will next perform on Sunday, August 18th at Taix‘s champagne room presented by Buzz Bands and White Iris Records as part of Echo Park Rising.
