"Get Low" by Smooth Hound Smith

shs.cover imageThe Dustbowl Revival is a true music collective, but chanteuse Caitlin Doyle was always a vital staple. The band lost her when she moved to Nashville with her boyfriend Zach Smith and together they became Smooth Hound Smith. But now the couple is back in Venice Beach, living out of their van, and couch surfing between gigs. Their debut self-titled album was produced by Raymond Richards (Local Natives, Honeyhoney) and it’s a bevy of folksy jives made for croonin’ or boot stompin’ as each song carries a sweet taste of soul sweat and blues grit.
