Cotillon makes psychedelic fuzz pop with a beach bash vibe that could only be pulled off by dudes from some SoCal town like Costa Mesa. They’re self-proclaimed “flower punkers” which probably just means they won’t stand for conformity… on love. Mark Rains (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Neon Trees) produced their second EP White Roses (flower-themed of course!) at the Station House as director David Herrera created a music video for their first single “Talk To Her.”
The video follows Cotillon frontman Jordan Corso and a partner-in-crime (both credited as “punkers”) on an adventure of antics that pays homage to the 1983 film Valley Girl. Fittingly, it was shot around The Valley including Annie Hardy’s (of Giant Drag) house and The California Institute of Abnormalarts in Noho.
