"Reminder" by Warships

Echo Park-based Warships makes groove-based pop rock perfect for barefoot dance parties on a backyard lawn. Like drinking a Margarita on a late Summer afternoon, their songs start off laid back, but when the buzz kicks in it’s time to move! Plus, their guitarist/vocalist Edson Choi sounds a bit like Sting (or shall we dare now say Gotye?) Warships managed to recruit producer Raymond Richards (Local Natives, The Parson Red Heads, Honeyhoney) for their debut EP which will hopefully be released in the Fall, but for now here’s a track:

Warships is hosting the June residency every Tuesday at The Central.
